Servant Leadership
Samaritan's Feet
I volunteered with an organization called Samaritan's Feet. This event was held at Will-Moore Elementary School where volunteers wash the feet of students that have a low socioeconomic status, give them socks, and fit them with a new pair of shoes. This experience is one I will never forget and was so humbled that I was able to help so many children and families in need. It was extremely rewarding to see the big smiles and many laughs the young children and I shared racing around the gymnasium in their new shoes. This event provided a memorable and truly humbling experience.

Service Projects
I participated in many service projects effecting the Bismarck-Mandan community such as the Fall Carnival fundraiser which raised money for a housing project in Mandan and Project Armchair where I read to young children to raise awareness and funds for Project Armchair.

The 'Links'
I was a member of the ELA committee that was responsible for making connections with the freshman and sophomore ELA classes, or as we called it, we are the 'links' from their class to ours. We met with these classes multiple times to share how great the program is and offer our help and advice with any projects or questions they had.
